Making a shot in Basketball kings, or real Basketball ( They are the same game so I'll interchange them.) is not the hard part. All you have to do is make sure you make a straight upward swipe. If you want the upper edge in online games, you have to make more flawless shots.
To make a flawless shot you have to make sure your green meter lands on the arrow spot on. To get that spot on you have to concentrate ALL of your attention on the on the Green arrow. Do not look at he hoop or the ball. Just look at the meter. You should be able to make a straight upward shot almost subconsciously. So start swiping up and practice to get spot on the arrow.
After a while of practice you should get a hang of it. If you want to learn how to win every time in Real basketball or Basketball kings click on them. Here is a video of me playing. I think I have 50% flawless in this game.
